My projects frequently bring me to other locations in the country. In this case, I was asked to capture a recently-built Hash Kitchen restaurant in Gilbert, Arizona. Here are some of my favorite photos from this project.
I always use my Gitzo Series 5 Systematic tripod which can easily extend up to 12 feet to capture unique perspectives like the photo above.
After capturing the exterior, I continued with the interior.
The combination of a tall tripod and perspective control (tilt/shift) lenses allows me to capture elevated images which still include the appropriate amount of floor and ceiling in addition to maintaining straight verticals.
I returned in the evening to capture a dusk exterior.
